Hurting Himself
Occasionally Zeke will get mad at something we do and will throw a little tantrum.
Most likely to happen if we close a door behind us and he can’t get in.
Most of the time he is fine with it but sometimes he just gets ticked off.
He also is an avid climber and is currently obsessed with his Daddys computer screen.
We have a tall bookshelf next to the desk and he continues to use it as a ladder to get up on the desk.
He even does it while Adam is sitting there working on the computer.
Well tonight he kept taking him down and telling him no…
and after a few times Zeke got mad and decided to hit his head along the desk like he usually would a door.
I am guessing this head banging is part of being Autistic or having Autism and not from watching music videos lol.
To his surprise it hurt to hit the sharp edge on his forhead and he began to cry.
Zeke is quick to forget
Well I came out wondering what had happened and to comfort him…and then he starts laughing.
I put him on my lap to see his injury…a nice red line that was slowly becoming a bump.
Nothing to worry about though luckily he has a high tolerance to pain.
He didn’t care and just wanted to play.
So I played with him as he loves to be tossed onto the beanbag and he loves to be hung upside down.
He forgot about his head and was off again.
Good times.
PS
We got the magnetic dry erase board hung up at his height in the dining room.
Now to make the photos.
And his favorite train Gordon is MIA.
Hopefully at Grandma and Grandpas house and not lost inbetween.
Does your child hurt himself on purpose?

My son has sensory integration. They thought it was Autism when he was young. He is allergic to food dye and you should consider the possibility in your son. We use a mixture of applied behavior therapy and Sensory Integration Therapy. I might be worth while for you to look up the disorder because most children with autism, add, adhd and ceribral palsy have some sensory issues.
The fish oil is good because it helps in the milination of the brain, helping to conect synapses so that they think quicker and more efficiently. Best of luck! … and remember, patience is the love of them just the way they are.

Thanks girl! I am not sure if they checked for dyes…there are other tests his dr wants to do….we just have to wait on the $$$. 🙂
