My Snow Portraits
I got really excited when I saw that we were going to get some snow here in Duncan, OK. We do not get it very often so I knew I wanted my hubby to take my snow portraits. brrrrr
Buy the dress
I brought out the beautiful dress I bought at Ross a few years back and put on some leggings to keep warm along with long socks and my cowgirl boots. We were really chasing the sunlight before it set for the night. Just in time we found these trees along a backroad not too far from home. The first photo he took I said make sure the sun shines over my shoulder….I looked at it and my whole head was the sun. hahahhahahahha guess I get what I paid for which was nothing. lol. I further directed him with what I wanted and made sure he took a ton of photos for me to choose from. He is still learning to use my Canon 5D Mark IV. In all reality so am I!!! Love this camera though it is worth its weight in gold.
Change locations
We got a bunch of great photos at this location and headed home. Passing by I spotted this field and knew we had to stop. I had put my apple watch back on and didn’t realize that until we were done so a lot of those field photos got scrapped. We both love my snow portraits we did get though.
Practice what you preach
How can I as a photographer tell people they need photos of themselves if I am afraid to be in front of the camera? I just can’t. Here I am….showing you it is fun and you must try it too!
