Weeks 17 & 18 of Life in 52
Week 17
Bubble Gum Alley and Beaver Falls are both fun places to visit if you have time.
I have been participating in the month long NW Paper chase again this year.
My sister and I stopped at Pikes Place Market in Seattle on our way home.
We finally got to go into the first ever Starbucks. Last year we got there around midnight
so of coarse everything was closed but we still took some pics in the dark.
This is bubble gum alley. It is so colorful and fun yet disgusting all at once.
I was told this was no more than three months worth of gum. I guess they actually clean
the wall off every so often when it gets to be too much. It is for sure a tourist attraction.
There I am pointing at all of the fun! She thought I would like it but no. lol
Week 18
We had friends come down from Shelton,WA to visit for the day so after lunch we took a
little drive. We took them over the Rainier bridge from Longview, WA and up to
Delena, OR where we enjoyed a nice little hike to the beautiful Beaver creek Falls.
My three kids enjoyed the hike. It wasn’t our first time there but it is always a good time.
With it being spring it was a little muddy and the trail down was kind of slick but we
all made it safely down and up again. It even sprinkled a little bit but that felt nice
after the short hike. The clouds provided perfect amount of coverage for a nice photo
without any bright spots on the falls. Love it!
Onto Week 19 already. We are getting close to the halfway point.
