Bobbie – 2018 SR Portraits
It was July that I got to make the drive down to Lincoln City, OR
to see my niece Bobbie. She was up for a visit and we all knew we
couldn’t miss the chance to see her. We decided to get her SR photos
done while the sky was blue and the wind wasn’t too bad.
Bobbie wore a cute black floral summer dress that was perfect for the day.
We started at the beach then headed to a park to avoid more wind and get
into some greenery. The park had such perfect green grass it worked
out lovely. The sun had gone down more so we went further down the beach
to end our SR session. Lincoln City really has a lot to offer and I am so
happy we were able to capture Bobbies SR portraits where she grew up.
Gotta have some family time.
In between photos we got to chat and she goofed around with her cousins.
We stopped at Starbucks for drinks and ate at a cute little cafe called
The Grill 1646 that her friends own along the main drag.
We didn’t think of spending the
night so we started heading home. Along the way home we stopped to visit my sister and
my nephew along with his family in Newberg, OR. I wish they were able to be at
the beach with us but it didn’t work out for us to all go together. Save that for another
road trip in the future. 😉
Why do I love photographing Seniors?
I love photographing high school seniors because they are so full of life
and ideas! These teens are just learning who they are and what they like.
Each session is different from the next because no two teens are the same!

Best time to get your SR portraits taken:
Best time for Senior photos is in the summer before you go into 12th grade.
Warm weather really helps make the session more fun for all involved.
Fall photos are really popular as well but you can’t go too far into September
without starting to worry about our PNW rain. If you want snow photos then
late December and January is a great time to head up towards
Mt St Helens for some winter wonderland photos.
There are always those who wait till the last minute and that is okay as well
but you are taking a risk when you book your senior session in April or May.
What are your favorite type of Senior photo?
Headshot with the cap and gown or
them being themselves in their outfit choice.
I like to offer a nice variety.
